Why should you buy cryptocurrencies?

Cryptocurrencies are undoubtedly one of the most talked about, and controversial investments in the mainstream today. As a crypto enthusiast for several years, I started this site to share my love of crypto and spread the message behind cryptocurrencies.

Imagine you are in a world that relies on fully electronic ledgers where large trillion dollar corporations control all access to your money. Sound familiar? Because that is how we live today. Mega banking conglomerates create money on a ledger, decide who gets the money, and gamble with all that fake ledger money til they either make billions or lose it all.

One day you go to your bank and find out you have lost access to your funds for, insert your own random banker reason, and you have nothing to buy food with anymore. Sound like it is impossible? Let me tell you a little story about it. I had over $35000 in my savings account. I decided to use some of that money to pay off my credit card balance. Not only did the payment get denied, but my funds were locked for a pending investigation because it was over a $10,000 payment. It took 6 weeks before I could access that money, and my car payment that was auto drafted also went overdue. I had just enough money to pay the mortgage and utilities, and used that damn credit card for everything else because they had my money locked up.

That is when I began looking at Bitcoin. I was about 7 years late, but I began trading, holding some, and watching the whole crypto culture, market, and community grow.

You may have heard of it as a "store of value" and wonder what this means. The value of bitcoin will likely increase beyond the value of any currency on earth over time. Inflationary monetary pressures taken into account, your dollar is worth less today than last month. Bitcoin has those same pressures. However, the only person in control of your crypto, in your wallet, is you. No one else. Cash in your wallet has no growth. Bitcoin in your wallet does. That is why I bitcoin.
